Formerly SUPRACOAT THIN BED ADHESIVE and SUPRACOAT HIFIX.

SikaCeram®-90 HIFIX is a polymer-modified cementitious adhesive formulated for excellent adhesion and workability. It is suitable for fixing ceramic tiles and natural stone tiles onto walls and floors, as well as for the laying of Aerated Lightweight Concrete (ALC) and Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) blocks and panels.

Usage

SikaCeram®-90 HIFIX is suitable for the installation of ceramic tiles and natural stones onto the following substrates:

Concrete surfaces

Cement-sand screed and cement render

Rendered brickwork

Lightweight concrete blocks (to be primed with Sika® Primer-11 WMY)

It is suitable for:

Laying of AAC and ALC blocks and panels

Wall and floor applications

Interior and sheltered exterior areas

  For applications requiring higher bond strength or improved flexibility, such as:

High movement areas

External applications

Dense tiles such as vitrified, porcelain, marble or granite

SikaCeram®-90 HIFIX should be mixed with the SikaLatex® range of latex additives. Trial applications are recommended to determine suitability for specific site conditions.
